Browse verified listings, click Buy Now, pay into escrow, choose a partner shop near you, meet the seller there, inspect the bike, confirm the sale. Funds release to the seller after your confirmation.
Every bike is physically inspected by a certified Pedal partner shop. The shop checks brakes, drivetrain, frame, wheels, and overall condition, then assigns an Excellent, Good, or Fair grade.
When you pay, your funds go to a secure escrow account — not to the seller. The money is only released after you meet at the shop, inspect the bike, and confirm the sale. If you decide not to buy, your funds are returned.
If the bike's condition doesn't match the verified listing at the time of meetup, you can reject the sale. Your escrow funds will be returned within 3–5 business days.
Listings have a set price. You can message the seller before committing to purchase to discuss the price.
For Sellers
Click Sell a Bike, fill in your bike's details, choose a partner shop near you for inspection, set your price, and submit. Drop off your bike at the shop — once inspected and graded, your listing goes live.
Listing is free. Pedal charges a 7% platform fee on completed sales. The partner shop charges a flat inspection fee (typically $20–35) paid at drop-off.
Most inspections are completed within 48 hours of drop-off. You'll receive an email when your listing goes live.
Funds are released from escrow to your account within 2 business days of the buyer confirming the sale at the meetup.
You can pick up your bike from the partner shop at any time. There is no time limit on listings.

Shops charge a flat inspection fee collected at drop-off, plus receive a per-transaction fee from Pedal for every completed sale facilitated at their location.
